1 Place Where The Grass Is Always Greener!

On the other side of course!!!
(Bet you knew that was coming, eh?)

Doesn’t make for a very long article though, does it!

So let’s ask if it’s actually true.

‘Is it actually true?’

Er, well no, really.

It certainly *looks* greener, oh yes, but for all you know it could be
plastic astro-turf.

Don’t concentrate on the other side of the fence anyway, look to your own
side.

Get out the lawnmower, and trim that unnecessary straggly stuff.
Get some lawn seed, and sprinkle liberally.
Use that watering can, and clear away those broken shopping trolleys.
Oooh, you’ll end up with a lovely bit of lawn!

Ok, ok, enough, but you get the idea?

The grass being greener on the other side is just an illusion.
Other people’s lives being better and happier than yours is also just an
illusion.

Firstly, you have no idea what actually goes on behind what you see, and
secondly there is a whole football stadium full of people who would jump
at the chance to have your life, because it looks that much better than
theirs!

Let’s take for example the difference between being single and being in a
relationship…

I’ve experienced both, I’m currently single.

When you are single, it’s very easy to long for all the good bits of a
relationship, the passion, the warmth, the sharing.

Before you get too jealous though, don’t forget the expenses, the rows, the
fighting over the remote and the bedcover, etc.

Also, don’t forget the wonderful freedom and opportunities that exist for
the single person, which people in relationships can only dream of!
And, of course, that’s exactly what they will do, because they’re looking
at *your* grass!

So, c’mon, don’t worry too much about what other people have,
concentrate on what you have, concentrate on your own efforts, your own
goals, your own abundance.

If you do this, when your neighbour wants you to admire his astro-turf,
you nod politely, and smile to yourself, safe in the knowledge that the
grass is actually greener on *your* side!
